Who Uses the Platform

Two groups work in the platform, and they see different things.

• Wholesalers. Wholesalers own the workspace, catalog, pricing, and orders. They invite retailers to the workspace, review the quotes retailers submit, and manage production, inventory, and shipments.
• Retailers. Retailers work in a white labeled design tool built from the wholesaler's catalog. They design monuments with live pricing, submit finished designs as quote requests, and view their outstanding order details and ETAs.

Retailers reach the platform only by invitation from a wholesaler. There is no public sign up.

This help center is written for both groups. A page covering work only wholesalers do is marked at the top and addresses wholesalers directly. Every other page names both roles rather than assuming which one is reading.

What the Platform Covers

The platform is organized around six modules.

• Catalog. The wholesaler's offerings as retailers see them. This includes the shapes, sizes, finishes, accessories, and pricing all in one place. Price changes apply to every retailer using the design tool, ensuring pricing is not outdated.
• Design tool. A drag and drop tool for drafting and designing monuments from the catalog, with live price updates. Retailers work in it, and wholesalers can build a design there as well.
• Quoting and approval. Designs are submitted as quote requests. Each side then has a step to take: the wholesaler reviews the request and sends a priced quote back, and the retailer approves it. Wholesalers can also raise a quote with no design behind it.
• Orders. An approved quote becomes an order. The order tracks the work through production and fulfillment, and retailers see its status and ETA.
• Shipments. Orders are allocated to shipments and grouped for delivery, then tracked from planning through arrival, with a Bill of Lading generated automatically.
• Inventory. Stock tracked by SKU and by location, with every physical unit serialized and labeled with a QR code at receiving.

How Work Moves Through the Platform

A new wholesaler account follows roughly this path, though the stages overlap once the account is running.

1. The wholesaler works with Stonegate support to import their catalog and pricing rules into the system.
2. The wholesaler imports their customer list into the platform.
3. The wholesaler invites retailers and gives them access to the design tool.
4. Retailers can immediately start designing monuments with live pricing and submit them as quote requests.
5. The wholesaler reviews each request and approves it or asks for changes.
6. Approved quotes become orders, which the wholesaler runs through the production, inventory, and shipment process.

What You Need

Stonegate Scribe runs in the browser. There is nothing to install, and there is no separate mobile app.

Scanning QR labels in the inventory module works from a USB or keyboard wedge scanner gun, or from a device camera.
